The Acting Director of Seat of Wisdom Academy Zaria (SWAZ), Rev Fr. Solomon Yayock has charged the faithful not allow themselves to be deceived about end time. Giving the charge during the Mass he celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria on Sunday, November 16, 2025, the priest leaned on the readings that of the day that pointed to end time in imploring the faithful to always prepare for the inevitable rather than get frightened by its reality.
The clergyman who cited the evils in the days of Prophet Malachi admonished them to examine their lives and relationships with those around them, so as the purge themselves of all vices that stand on their way of authentic preparation for the end time.
His words, “Dear friend in Christ, one of the realities of life is the fact that nothing lasts forever. Whoever we are, whatever we have will come to an end one day. Someday, whatever you are passing through will come to an end. We have seen how powerful people come and go. The world will not be excluded from this reality. There will be an end of evil and evil doers. On the other side of the coin, those who suffer persecution, injustice, hatred, wars, disaster will someday receive joy and happiness. This is good news for the righteous because they will triumph in the end. Therefore, we need to watch, wait and prepare for the coming of Jesus.”
“The reality of end time should not frighten us. It should make us to always prepare for the end. Do not allow people to mislead you as you prepare for end time. The end is sure to come, but we do not know how and when. Take care not to be deceived because Jesus told us that people will use His Name to deceive others. We see how some preachers have led people astray and some sold their properties in anticipation of end time. There is no need to burden ourselves with end time but to live a good life. If you live a life of love, you have no need to fear the end time.”
