The members of the catholic bible society, SS John and Paul lba pope Awada has celebrated her 30th year of existence. The members of the society with the parish priest Fr Victor Mbanisi commenced the celebration with a holy mass which was attended by the members and other parishioners.

Speaking to the press on the features of anniversary, the chairman of the catholic bible society, lba pope chapter, Bro. Agu. disclosed that the ceremony of the thirtieth year anniversary featured awards to patrons, patronesses, Ambassadors and others to some distinguished members of the society. He specifically hinted that the anniversary celebration include fund raising which would enable them to raise money for the purchase of evangelism vehicle.
Speaking to the press at the wake of the event, one of the award recipients, Mr.Beneath Nweke expressed appreciation for the celebration of the thirty years anniversary in which some of her members were honoured with award in recognition of their efforts towards the progress and growth of the society.
Bro.Beneath Nweke who is from St.Joseph parish Awada acknowledged the fact that some members of the catholic bible society deserve to be honored in view of the years of their contributions and upkeep of the society. He however charged the society award recipients not to relent in what they are doing for the society.
