Catholic Media Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN )Onitsha Archdiocese on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 held maiden physical meeting at Trinitas Communications office inside Basilica of Most Holy Trinity Onitsha.
The meeting witnessed appointment of new executive officers which include Comrade Aloy Attah chairman, Chinedu Chisom- Secretary, Polycap Ifeanyi vice secretary , John Anulumadu – Treasurer, and Charles Igwe Public Relations Officer ( PRO).
The director social communication Onitsha Archdiocese who is also spiritual director of Onitsha Archdiocesan CAMPAN Rev Fr Dr. George Adimike while addressing the meeting
emphasized the need for serious commitment to the activities of CAMPAN, enjoining members to propagate Christ through their journalism profession. He also revealed his readiness to assist in moving the association to enviable height.
The Chairman Comrade Aloy Attah in his remarks praised the efforts of Fr Adimike in making the association to come alive again in the Archdiocese. He commended the members for their active participation, positing that Onitsha Archdiocesan CAMPAN has come to stay. He advised members to always report the activities of Onitsha Archdiocese with or without remunerations.
He also reminded the members about the national convention scheduled to hold at pastoral center Iselle- Uku Diocese, Delta state between April 15th and 18th.
