A Professor of Public Health Parasitology of the Department of Parasitology and Entomology, Faculty of Biosciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Professor Dennis Aribodor, recently emerged the Coordinator of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Owerri Zone.
Fides Reports that Owerri Zone is made up of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli; Federal University of Technology, Owerri; Imo State University, Owerri; and Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
Announcing his emergence before the members of Awka Capital Elite Football Club (ACE FC) of Awka, Prof. Aribodor who is the Immediate past chairman of ASUU-NAU, thanked his teammates for identifying with him and promised never to disappoint them and the university community.
His words, ‘I appreciate your kind wishes, goodwill, prayers and love. I pray the Almighty God to grant me Divine favour and wisdom to shoulder this great responsibility. I rely on your prayers and good counsel.
‘I pray God to visit each and every member of our great and dear club with your heart’s desires and cause you to be celebrated.
‘I deeply appreciate your love. Thank you and God’s constant blessings upon each and every member,’ he concluded.
