Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim lauded local artists Ojadiligbo and Slowdog for visiting Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s development projects.
The artists, who met with the Deputy Governor at the newly completed Anambra State Government House, praised the modern facilities and infrastructure, particularly the state-of-the-art Solution Fun City.
Ibezim highlighted the significance of the new Government House, a 56-building complex, marking a 34-year break from Anambra’s lack of a permanent structure.
He urged artists to counter negative narratives about the Soludo administration by showcasing the positive developments.
Ojadiligbo and Slowdog, hailing from Anambra, described the state as a burgeoning creative hub.
They commended the government’s investments in recreational and administrative infrastructure, emphasizing their potential to boost tourism and local talent.
Slowdog specifically noted the appeal of Solution Fun City, stating he no longer needs to travel to Lagos for entertainment.
The visit, facilitated by Hon. Chinedu Obigwe and Hon. Kamen Chuks Ogbonna, culminated in a freestyle performance by Ojadiligbo celebrating Governor Soludo’s work.
The artists stressed that these advancements foster a supportive environment for creatives in the South East, reducing the need to seek opportunities elsewhere.
The visit underscores Anambra’s commitment to economic and cultural growth.
