The popular Lagos based Unusual Praise Gospel Musical ensemble (a group of Gospel Music artistes) is set to hit the commercial city of Onitsha come November 14,2025.
The News was broken by one of the facilitators of the group,Barr.Mrs Tina Igbokwe while briefing journalists after her visit in respect of Archbishop Valerian Okeke’s 72nd birthday anniversary celebration at the Onitsha Correctional Centre.
According to her,a groundwork for successful outing of the group were already going and would all manifest during the event.
She said that from the benefit of hindsight,her organisation was not leaving any stone unturned to ensure that the event turned out a huge success and a blessing to the residents of the commercial city of Onitsha.
Mrs Igbokwe pointed out that the event was another opportunity to fellowship,sing,pray and shower praises to God for sustaining the living through hardships and also to give hope to the hopeless.
She revealed that many other goodies will turn out from the event including empowerment to the less privileged.
Speaking on the Archbishop’s birthday, Igbokwe said she needed not be told to be present to witness the birthday.While congratulating the Archbishop,Igbokwe said described the Archbishop as a father,mentor,a true and respected man of God whose footsteps will ever remain indelible in the sand of time.She said that her director in Lagos,Monsignor Nwaezeapu and other members of the Unusual Praise Group were excited at the Archbishop’s 72nd birthday and were wishing him well.
