The Chief Shepherd of Onitsha Archdiocese His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke last Sunday charged christians to say their rosary daily in order to obtain greater favours from God the son through the intercession of Blessed mother Mary.
The prelate gave the advice while preaching a sermon during a Holy Mass at Daughters of Mary, Mother of Mercy (DMMM)Regional house Obosi to mark the birthday of Blessed Virgin Mary.
He stated the need for Christians to embrace our Blessed mother Mary by saying the rosary everyday, assuring that once we fly to the patronage of Mother Mary, She will never let us down through her effective and reliable intercession. “She will cuddle anyone who takes her as mother with all sincerity. “
The local ordinary also charged christians to follow Christ in truth and in Spirit, adding that whenever we put our trust in God, we won’t be afraid of evil people since God will not relent in fighting for us.
According to him, he who hold tenaciously to God should not be afraid because the plans of enemy and evil men against you cannot prevail. “The day criminals and kidnapers will operate on your way, God will show you another safe route to ply or will even make you not to leave your house same day. No challenges or tribulations can pull you down as you will be equiped with enough grace and power to conquer temptations.”
