People of every Class and people of all ages, people of diverse Professions, inlaws friends, well wishers, and Parishioners from many parishes in Enugu Diocese and beyond, recently converged at Late Mr. Godwin Aniakor’s family, in Aguemete Village, Umuaji- Mgbagbu-Uwa town, in Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State, during the burial ceremony of their mother, Late Mrs. Francisca Nwabuno Aniakor (AKA Aruzuluoke; Nee Udeh).
I bring to mind that the deceased was the mother of Rev. Fr. Godwin Aniakor who is a member of college of formators, St. Benard Seminary hostel, Catholic diocese of Enugu, the deceased was also the mother of very Rev. Fr. Celestine Amobi Aniakor, who is the Parish priest of St. Jude Parish, Anioma Layout, Abakpa – Nike, Enugu. Delivering Sermon in the mass of the resurrection (Funeral Mass) which took place at Holy Rosary Parish, Umuaji – Mgbagbu-Owa, Rev. Fr. Barrister Denis Eze who lived with the deceased when he was on apostolic Work, said Mama was a Woman of Virtue, whose life was committed to service of God and humanity, and you can see it, in the life of the two(2) of her sons, which she gave to the Curch. In a brief chaff with trinitas at the burial ceremony, the Auxiliary Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. E.A. Obodo, described Late Mrs. Aniakor, as a Woman of Strong Catholic faith and also strong Catholic back ground.
In his Vote of thanks Very Rev. Fr. Celestine Aniakor, paid glowing tributes to the two bishops present, which included bishop Onaga, Priests Men and Women religious and lay faithful from far and near, he noted that their Late mother, taught them to work hard, because the sweetest honey is made by the busy bees. At the graveside, at Late Mr. Godwin Aniakor’s burial ground, Rev. Fr. Godwin Aniakor, the Parish Priest of Holy Rosary Parish, Umuaji-Mgbagbu – Owa, Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Ogbozor (JP), and Rev. Fr. Christopher Chielo in their separate prayers and among their prayers was; may God give late Mrs. Francisca a merciful judgment and for give all her sins. In their separate interview with the Press, the Parish Priest, Fr. Ogbozor, Fr. Uchenna and Fr. Celestine Aniakor, noted that they are Celebrating life and time of their mother, Late Mrs. Aniakor, and also disclosed that other children of the deceased are doing well in their various fields of endevours: While Rev. Fr. Ogbozor is of the opinion that being the mother of two Priests is already blessings from God.
I again bring to mind, that the decease is blessed with seven (7) Sons and one (1) daughter and two (2) of her sons are Catholic Priests. In another interview with the 1st Vice Chairman, Parish Council, St. Jude Parish, Anioma Layout, Abakpa – Nike, Enugu, Ambassador Godwin Enwe U, noted that in view of the Kindness of Fr. Aniakor, who is his Parish Priest, and the mother of the Parish, Late Mrs. Francisca Aniakor, both are indeed descendants of Abraham.
