Regina Pacis Model Secondary School is proud to announce yet another remarkable achievement as its students secured top honors at the recent FAPSCON (Faculty of Physical Science Conference) 2023. The competition was a highlight of the 5th Annual International Conference and Exhibitions for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, hosted by Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University’s Faculty of Physical Sciences.
In this fiercely competitive exhibition, Regina Pacis students showcased their exceptional talents and innovative prowess, claiming the coveted 1st position. Their ingenious creations included a cutting-edge gas leakage detector and specialized walking aids designed to assist the visually impaired.
This victory not only highlights the unwavering dedication and hard work of the school’s students but also underscores the culture of excellence that Regina Pacis Model Secondary School consistently fosters and nurtures, transforming raw talent into boundless creativity.
In addition to the students’ triumph, the institution itself received a prestigious award in recognition of its outstanding performance from the previous year, presented by the same esteemed institution.
The school extends its deep appreciation to its esteemed Director, Rev. Fr. Jerome Obiekezie, whose unwavering support and visionary ideas have been instrumental in achieving this resounding success.
Special recognition is also due to the Robotics department, particularly Mr. Somkene and Mr. Victor, for their invaluable mentorship and guidance that played a pivotal role in the students’ accomplishments. A heartfelt commendation goes to their dedicated teacher coordinator, Engr. Raphael, whose relentless determination turned this dream into an inspiring reality.
