Block Rosary Crusade (BRC) members of St Raphael’s Parish, Okpoko, last Sunday toured the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha, on a pilgrimage visit.
The parish leader of the BRC, Br Christian Egwutuoha, who spoke to Trinitas, said the mission was to strengthen the faith of the members, who are mostly children, since seeing is believing.
“We want BRC members to emulate the lives of the saints so that they can begin early to prepare themselves for a holy life. We are also lucky to have the basilica around us, which is an interesting pilgrimage centre,” he said, declaring that whoever comes around the basilica will feel the presence of God in a special way.
He further called on the members to always say their rosary daily and keep the light of faith shining, adding that “those who say their rosary frequently with full devotion cannot be easily conquered by temptation”.
