The Chairman of Ogbaru Transition Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Pascal Aniegbuna has stated that no Governor in Anambra State has remembered Okpoko Community in infrastructural development more than what the present administration of Professor Charles Soludo is doing now.
Speaking with newsmen during the occasion of pastoral visit of Archbishop Valerian Okeke to St. Raphael the archangel Catholic Church Anumudu Okpoko.
Hon. Aniegbuna unequivocally said that Okpoko Community should be thankful to Governor Soludo who he said has maintained and fulfilled his promise to the Community.
”The Governor is doing what nobody has done in Okpoko. People of Okpoko should support the government of the day, pray for the Governor and support him in order to reap more good things government of the day is bringing in Okpoko.
”If you walk around Okpoko, you will see street lights springing up everywhere. Good roads coming up in different quarters cut across the 6 wards in the area.
“So, in no time Okpoko will be a centre of attraction. The people are happy and I think there is a holistic transformation in the area,” he said.
It would be recalled that Okpoko Community was the first Community in the State which Governor Soludo immediately visited after he was sworn in as the Executive Governor of Anambra State.
Governor Soludo equally began his projects in the area by awarding 9 roads simultaneously in order to fulfill his election campaign promise to the Community.
