The Parish Priest of S.S John and Paul lba Pope Awada Rev. Fr.Victor Mbanisi, the staff and management of Mater Christi group of schools led by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Okwuokolo, (Odira chukwu nma) has successfully celebrated the 25 years of the foundation of the school. The.ceremony was well attended by the parents and guardians of the students snd pupils of the school.
Speaking at the occasion Fr Mbanisi explained happiness for the celebration and described education as indispensable factor for power of knowledge, advising education enthusiasts to write their names in the school hall of fame, setting the example of engrossing his father’s name, Chief Gabriel Mbanisi in the school’s hall of fame with the sum of one hundred thousand Naira.
In his vote of thanks for the ceremony, the manager of the school, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Okwuokolo commended all who attended the silver jubilee celebration, thanking the organising committee members for a job well done.Among those who graced the ceremony included the CWO members and the CMO members led by Chief Ephraim Emeleje, the Vice chairman of the Parish council, mayor Peter Ezenwamba, the chairman of the Parish laity council, Bro. Jude Osuala amongst others.
Highpoint of the occasion which featured cultural dance, questions and answer session, calisthenics and cutting of the 25 years anniversary cake , was the announcement of the silver jubilee raffle draw and the consolation prize winners.
