The Class of 2024 at Mater Amabilis Secondary School, Umuoji, has achieved remarkable success in the recently released West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results. The results, which were made public on Monday, August 12, 2024, revealed an extraordinary performance by the students, with several recording 9 distinctions and many others achieving equally impressive grades.
Rev. Fr. Francis Onwuchulum, the school’s manager, expressed his delight and gratitude in a post on his personal social media account. He credited the outstanding performance to the collective effort of the students, staff, and the divine guidance of God Almighty.
This stellar achievement follows the school’s equally impressive performance in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams, where Mater Amabilis students excelled despite a generally poor nationwide result. The school’s consistent success in academics has been attributed to the strong leadership of the school’s proprietor, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, and the diligent management of Rev. Fr. Francis Onwuchulum.
Further details are expected as Trinitas reporters await official communication from the school’s management.
