It was a life changing prayer session when Market Evangelism Bridge-Head Market, Onitsha Anambra state conducted mid year prayer session.
The mid year prayer was held at the Market assembly ground and attracted virtually the presence of all the traders and president general of the Market, Hon. Chinedu Ezekwike and his lieutenants.
Preaching at the event, the invited spiritual director of Olu ndi enigwe Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Jude Uchegbosi reminded traders that nothing beyond the strength of God almighty. He also urged them to trust God in everything they are doing.
” Without God you will achieve nothing, no matter the level of your efforts. If you are not with God, you can never succeeded” Said Fr. Jude.
He prayed fervently for the traders and blessed them and advised them to abstain from evil inclinations.
Commenting, the coordinator of Market Evangelism Bridge-Head Market, Brother Anarike Sylvanus said he was highly elated on the success of the prayer, pointing out that the theme of the prayer was ” There Is Nothing God Can not Do”
He recalled the story of Peter the Apostle who laboured throughout night and was not able to catch any fish which made him to lose hope until Jesus approached him and directed him where he casted his net and caught larg quantity of fishes which he never caught before.
” God is greater than our challenges. Therefore, we should always trust in Him. There is hope in God but we shall keep our faith firm and Strong” Bro. Sylvanus posited.
He warned traders that whoever is committing evil should disengage himself and urged those who are doing good to continue their good doing, even as he admonished that whatever seed one sows, so shall he reap it while the wages of Sin is death.
In his appreciation speech, the president general of Bridge-Head Market, Hon. Chinedu Ezekwike declared that the presence of Fr. Jude at Bridge-Head Market would not be invain, saying that there must be a turn around in the Market.
He praised the committees for the prayers and those who assisted in the success of the mid year prayer and entire traders for their unalloyed support. He equally told traders that whoever has good suggestion for the progress of the Market should come to his office and say it.
Equally speaking, the secretary general of the prayer team, Prince Ken Mbaneto revealed that so many traders have repented since they established Market Evangelism, stating that their major aim is to continue to convert souls for Christ.
