The spiritual director Mountain of Solutions Catholic Adoration Ministry ( MOSCAM) Rev Fr Dr Basil Gbuzue aka Man pass Man last Sunday disclosed how he was set free from his abductors miraculously after nine days in kidnappers den.
Fr Gbuzue who revealed this to Trinitas Newspaper correspondent stated God delivered him from the so called kidnappers through fasting and prayers embarked opon by fellow priests, lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Onitsha and other people of goodwill who never relented in prayers until God intervened and set him free, describing prayers as veritable weapon of victory, adding that we christians are privileged to have a God that answers prayers.
According to him, whenever we pray with full conviction and faith, God will be there to answer no matter the circumstances or difficulties.
He thanked the Chief Shepherd of Onitsha Archdiocese His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke for encouraging the clergy and faithful to pray for his unconditional release immediately after he was abducted, testifying that it was same prayers embarked opon led to his freedom, stating that he returned home unhurt.
He made it clear that who ever serves God with all his heart can never be abondoned by God in times of challenges and tribulations.
Fr Gbuzue further commended the people of God for assisting him with prayers at the time he was in captivity, charging them not to relent in living a prayerful life that sustain our faith in God. “To be honest, God we are serving is real and he answers prayers. Let no know deceive you when temptation comes because it is only to strengthen your faith in God.”
As of the time of filing this report, Fr Gbuzue has since resumed his priestly assignment, attending to the sick, the needy and the challenged.
