Christians have been advised to not to waste time in answering God’s call since earthly life is short.
Rev Fr Emmanuel Udechukwu of Archdiocese of Onitsha gave the advise while preaching a Sunday Homily at Holy Cross parish Nkpor.
According to him, every human person has been called by Christ to bear witness to the gospel and be fishers of men by propagating the gospel and by living a holy life worthy of emulation.
He made it clear that for one to answer God’s call well, you must not be selfish with your gifts, wealth and endowments. You must avoid sins of omission and commission such as shedding of human blood, wickedness, telling lies etc.
“Do your work well, be honest in your working place, and in your business and always manifest the Christ in you especially in your relationships with others,” he advised.
