Famous Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has opened out on why he chose not to pay tribute to Ifeanyi Adeleke, his late son, in his latest album, ‘Timeless’. Davido’s followers expected the album to be about the singer’s late kid. Davido, on the other hand, chose to make the record more entertaining.During a press conference on Monday ahead of the upcoming ‘Timeless’ performance on April 23 in Lagos, Davido explained that his intention was to release a classic album with few or no sad songs to prevent his fans from being overwhelmed over the loss of his kid.He stated,”People who have been listening to music for a long time can attest to this.” Regardless of my circumstances, I have always been a cheerful person. “If sad songs come, it will be an entirely different project on its own because I never intended to combine them.”
