The president general of the Nkwelle Ezunaka community, Ogbuefi Wilfred Okafor has called on the electorate in Anambra State to vote in APGA candidates into the State House of Assembly during elections scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Okafor explained that Soludo will re-double his strides if the people of state produce a good number of APGA legislators because the formulation of new policies that can greatly assist in developing the state can easily be achieved.
He said: “We have done well by voting for Mr Peter Obi (the Labour Party presidential candidate) at the presidential election. It is now time we come home and keep our state in order by producing APGA legislators for [the] rapid transformation our dear governor has already embarked on.
“This is the time to support our working governor and not the time to go into unnecessary criticism capable of fueling disinformation and cheap propaganda about the current administration. It is regrettable to note that some citizens with bad will hardly support the governor in any way but will be the first to criticise the administration. In essence, Soludo needs APGA legislators so that they can synergise for thegreater good of the state.
“If legislators produced by other political parties are in the majority after the elections, then the governor will find it difficult to move the state to the next level because the legislators produced by the opposition party will delay the progress of the state just like erstwhile Governor Peter Obi experienced in his first administration in Anambra State as APGA governor when PDP legislators were in the majority in the house.”
The PG further called on Anambrarians to do the needful by coming out en masse on Saturday to exercise their franchise since that is the only way to ensure the continuity of good governance.
Reacting to the Central Bank’s policy of money redesigning that is currently inflicting the worst hardship on the citizens since the birth of Nigeria, the PG described the president and his cohorts as Nollywood actors who failed to prepare well before executing policies that affect the citizens adversely.
He urged the CBN to make the new notes available and stop suffering the innocent masses that didn’t commit any crime by becoming Nigerians.
