Catholic priest resident in Holy Family Parish Akuzor Nkpor Rev Fr Pius Ejiofor last Sunday called on people of God not to compromise their faith in the face of earthly challenges
Fr Ejiofor who gave the advice while preaching a Homily, expressed deep concern that some Christians hardly withstand earthly challenges and temptation but end up seeking for a solution elsewhere where their faith in God would be relegated to the background.
According to him, Christians should always realize that the living God we serve is capable of conquering every trouble that may come our way.
“No matter the degree of difficulty you may be passing through, remember that God has the powers to clear the difficulty out of your way only if you can believe and trust in him.”
Those who also abandon God in times of challenges are rather compounding their problems because no problem solved without God’s assistance is really solved permanently.
Fr Ejiofor also enjoined Christians to be generous in giving and always support the church and the servants of God since no one who gives to God in good heart will ever regret such actions. God he said doesn’t forget our generosity and good works.
