The Parish Priest of St Paul’s Catholic Church Ojoto, Rev Fr Patrick Ezeifedi recently eulogized a Philanthropist in Ojoto , headquarters of ldemili- South Council Area of Anambra State,Nigeria, High Chief Sir Dr Emma Frank Nzube Okafor, who put smile on the faces of people as he empowered over sixty indigenes of the town by giving one million, two hundred thousand naira each to the beneficiaries recently in his country home Ngoguwgwu, Ojoto.

Fr Ezeifedi further described Dr Okafor’s generosity as a catalyst that will not only assist the beneficiaries to develop their businesses, but will bring about tremendous progress in the community, stating that when you empower an individual, you are already developing the society.

Speaking to his visitors from United States of America, through his representative, Chairman, Ojoto South development Union,Chief Ndubueze Emejulu, Chief Dr Okafor said it gives him joy, whenever he gives succour to those he is better of and that was the reason he decided to empower these men and women to boost their businesses .

Chief Dr Sir Okafor further thanked God for His benavolence and magnanimity towards his family, because He has done so much for him , stating that they will continue to appreciate Him ( God) by giving back to the society, believing that living is all about impacting on lives and transforming the society especially those in need.

The Ojoto born business Mogul ,also known as ichie Igwulube Idemili North & South, Ezeuzu and Onwa Ojoto has sponsored some road projects , gave scholarship to some indigenes, installed transformers , sunk boreholes in the community to help alleviate the plights of the indigent citizens which he started since 2005, to boost their businesses,and called on affluent individuals in Ojoto ,to channel their wealth into meaningful vestures .

Also speaking to news men, the Vicar St Barnabas, Anglican Church, Ojoto Very Reverend Canon Henry Nwachukwu and Revd Canon Theo. Okoye-,said Chief Sir Dr Okafor has being man of high repute, substance who uses his wealth to empower ndi Ojoto and less privileged and prayed God to continue to bless him and his family and advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the money.

In their separate speeches,some stakeholders in Ojoto,to include,Chief CC Mojekwu , Chief Uzochukwu Okafor, Hon Festus Obierika ,Chief Onyeka Ejikeme,Chief Nonso Anazodo and Chief Afamefuna Ajaegbo, described High Chief Sir Dr Emma Frank Nzube Okafor as a cheerful giver, human developer and man who loves his people and prayed God to replenish him hundred folds and bless his family .

In their own contributions,some ndi Akaniofor in town ,Akajofo ndiabor general ,Akajofor Umuezechukwu, Mr Vin Molokwo,Akajofor Umuanuka,Mr Edozie Ajaegbo and that of Umuemete, Mr Chidi Okonkwo, prayed God to continue protecting and guiding Chief Dr Frank Emma Okafor fo his good will to his people.

Expressing their unalloyed gratitude to the donor,Dr Emma Okafor and some of the beneficiaries,Messrs Daniel Anosa, Daniel Anunobi,Emeka Nwabuike,Mrs Pauline Okeke,Mrs Nkechi Okonkwo and Mrs Obiaga,stated that the money will go a long way to help them boost their small scale businesses and thanked Chief Dr Okafor for the kind gesture, promised to utilize the money judiciously .

The event featured disbursement of the money to the beneficiaries, speeches, entertainment , dances among other things .
