Catholic mothers under the umbrella of Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) Archdiocese of Onitsha have stepped up evangelization at various zones of the Archdiocese to educate their members in various spiritual and material issues.
The women led by the Director of the CWO, Archdiocese of Onitsha,Dame Dr Ngozi Nwanosike have been touring 22 zones of the organisation across the Archdiocese of Onitsha.
In a programme lined up for the women,the Secretary,CWO, Archdiocese of Onitsha,lady Chika Obike,said the women have started receiving lectures on various topics which include, family,marriage and Pro Life Apostolate.
Other aspects are,the act of parenting,effects and dangers of contraceptives on women and evil of abortion.
Other topics mentioned are,fertility care in respect of Billings Method,exploring the benefits of Naprotech against IVF and effect of domestic violence on children.
Lady Obike said the CWO leadership was happy that the evangelization programme was yielding the expected positive results.
While expressing gratitude to the Archbishop of Onitsha,Most Rev Valerian Okeke for approving the programme,the director of CWO, Archdiocese of Onitsha,Dame Dr Ngozi Nwanosike pointed out that some of the programmes were being done in collaboration with the Family and Human Life of the Archdiocese of Onitsha whose Director is Rev Fr Emmanuel Megwalu.
Fr Megwalu has been in company of the team during the tour.
