Bishop of Auchi Diocese,most Rev Gabriel Dunia buries late Chief Raymond Dokpesi

The Bishop of Auchi Diocese most Rev Gabriel Dunia on Thursday,22nd June 2023 buried the remains of the late media mogul and politician,Chief Raymond Dokpesi at his Agenebode country home,Estako East local Government Area of Edo state.
The late Chief Dokpesi was the founder of African Independent Television AIT and Ray Power FM which blazed the trail as the first private television and radio in Nigeria.
In his homily,Bishop Gabriel Dunia described Dokpesi as humility as displayed by one of the thief’s that was crucified with Jesus Christ,who pleaded that Jesus should remember him in paradise while the other was castigating him.
Describing Dokpesi as one who has given do much in charity,most Rev Dunia said that charity covers a multitude of sin adding that the late Dokpesi represented charity as he repented and came back to reconcile with his creator.”We must return to God,we must use this occasion whoever we are to return to God.We must continue his charity work as the dead can no longer do charity because he said that even in his death,he will continue to do charity through his media”.
Former president Good luck Jonathan,governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state,the national security adviser Mr Nuhu Ribadu,Adams Oshiomole,Ndudi Elumelu,Mr Mike Ozekhome and many dignitaries from across the country came to pay their last respect to the late media mogul.
