The Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province,Most Rev Valerian Okeke has urged staff of the Onitsha Archdiocesan Secretariat to act as a source of light to their neighbors and anywhere they find themselves.The Archbishop spoke through his secretary Rev Fr Kingsley Omenyi while delivering a sermon at the first Mass of the year celebrated for the Onitsha Archdiocesan Secretariat staff to mark the beginning of the new year.
The Archbishop was represented in the Mass by the Onitsha Archdiocesan Chancellor Rev Fr Prudentius Emeka Aroh.The Mass which was held at the old church building,Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha,attracted priests,the religious and lay faithful working at the Secretariat as well as heads of organisations.
The Archbishop told them to always be diligent in their duties and be a source of joy to others.
He also admonished them to always be connected to Jesus and sanctify their lives by their daily actions to their neighbors adding that the only way to enjoy and live a peaceful life is being a good Christian.
