It was an emotional moment at the Basilica of the most Holy Trinity,Onitsha last Sunday where a special thanksgiving mass was celebrated to bid farewell to Archbishop Valerian Okeke’s Secretary, Rev Fr Kevin Chukwuka who was billed to travel overseas for further studies.
Fr Kevin Chukwuka who was the chief celebrant at the 10:30am mass was joined in the mass by the Chancellor of the Archdiocese Very Rev fr Dr Prudentius Aroh,Rector of the Basilica Monsignor Nwokedi Ezumezu and a host of other resident priests of the Basilica Parish.
Eulogies were showered on Fr Chukwuka for his humility and amiability and also for giving good account of himself while serving the Archbishop as his secretary.
The Parish Council members presented gifts to fr Chukwuka and pledged to remember him in their prayers while sojourning abroad.
They also wished him success in his pursuit of the golden fleece.
