On Thursday, December 26, 2024, His Grace Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, Archbishop of Onitsha, made a one-day pastoral visit to Immaculate Heart Specialist Hospital and Maternity Umudioka. The hospital management warmly welcomed the Archbishop, who is also the hospital’s proprietor.
In their address, the management praised Archbishop Okeke for his perpetual love and encouragement, generosity and blessings, guidance and support
They highlighted recent achievements which includes fencing and plastering staff quarters, pourchasing fully automated chemistry analyzers, acquiring 5kVA hybrid inverters, expanding electronic medical records, installing 3 units of 15KWh lithium batteries for uninterrupted power supply among other things.
Archbishop Okeke in speech commended the hospital’s remarkable progress, praising CEO Rev. Fr. Linus Uchenna Ezedinachi and his team for dedication and commitment. He recalled the hospital’s humble beginnings as a maternity clinic, now upgraded to a specialist hospital.
The Archbishop urged the public to utilize the hospital’s quality healthcare services, seek medical attention promptly, avoiding self-medication
CEO Fr. Ezedinachi in his remarks thanked Archbishop Okeke for his unflinching support, valuable advice and encouragement.
He emphasized the hospital’s commitment to excellence through: employing qualified personnel, acquiring world-class medical equipment, providing affordable, top-notch healthcare services etc.
