The Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha,Most Rev Valerian Okeke on Thursday,commissioned a modern storey building erected at the St Anthony’s Nursery/ Primary (Central School),Umudioka,by the Archdiocese.
While commissioning the ultra modern Nursery/ Primary school,the Archbishop also blessed and prayed over the school to make it spiritually and materially fit for the beneficiaries.
It is one of the numerous efforts of the Archbishop in promoting education and excellence in the Archdiocese.
The representative of the Igwe in Council of Umudioka,the President General of Umudioka community,parishioners,manager and Parish Priest incharge, Rev Fr Lawrence Ezeolisa,the Principal of St Anthony Secondary School Rev Fr Izuu Okoye and the Onitsha Archdiocesan Education Secretary,Very Rev Fr Dr Paschal Onwugbenu witnessed the event.
Also the representative of of Chief Chike F.Maduekwe who supported the Archbishop in the project were all there.
