Archbishop Valerian Okeke of has joyfully announced the upcoming ordination of twenty new priests. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
In a joyful message posted on his Facebook page, Archbishop Okeke expressed profound gratitude to God for the “precious gift of the priesthood of Christ.” He extended an invitation to the faithful to join in prayer for the ordinands.
“I most sincerely solicit for your prayers,” the Archbishop wrote, “that they may be true representatives of Christ and exemplary servants of the Word and the Sacraments to the people of God, whom they will serve in holiness and goodness of life.”m
The ordination mass which will be begin by 10am will be broadcast live both on the Archbishop’s page and Trinitas Newspaper Facebook page.
The ordination ceremony promises to be a significant event for the Onitsha Archdiocese, marking the dedication of twenty men to a life of service and commitment to their faith and community.
