Sts. John and Paul Parish, Iba Pope, Awada, played host to a comprehensive seminar on infertility issues and their treatment, organized by Recreating Values. The event, founded by Rev Fr. Valentine Obiagwu, brought together renowned speakers to shed light on the crucial topic.
The focal point of the seminar was the Creighton Model Fertility Care System (CRMS) and its role in NAPRO Technology (NPT) for managing infertility. Developed by Dr. Thomas Hilgers, an esteemed American gynecologist, this treatment approach has gained widespread recognition for its effectiveness. Its compatibility with Catholic teachings, emphasizing the natural and procreative aspect of reproduction, further enhances its appeal to the Catholic faithful.
During the two-day seminar, a complimentary medical outreach was also conducted, providing attendees with access to healthcare professionals who offered advice and tests to address their specific health concerns.
Fr. Valentine Obiagwu, the visionary behind Recreating Values, explained that the event aimed to educate the public about infertility and conventional methods of managing the condition. In an era where individuals often fall prey to charlatans exploiting their desperation for financial gain, Fr. Obiagwu emphasized the importance of disseminating accurate information and dispelling misconceptions.
Recreating Values has been at the forefront of numerous impactful initiatives in Anambra state and beyond. Their commitment to promoting and upholding good values has led them to conduct outreach programs in various educational institutions and sectors. Fr. Obiagwu expressed confidence that, with the support of dedicated individuals, both in terms of financial contributions and overall assistance, the organization will continue to garner global recognition and achieve even greater success in the future.
