The Archbishop of Onitsha and metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical province His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke on Friday, September 13th, 2024 enjoined Christians to assist in making the world a better place by speaking the language of love.
The prelate made the call while preaching a sermon during his pastoral visit to Blessed Iwene Tansi parish, Iba Pope Awada.
According to him, to speak the language of love is to be good to others and being charitable, sharing whatever you have with neighbours, helping the needy willingly without being compelled to do that, adding that those who have already formed the habit of speaking the language of love through their good behavours to others are being led by the Holy spirit.
He further charged christians to dispose themselves for the dwelling of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing that once the Holy Spirit descend on you, your life will automatically change and you will begin to perform miracles like the apostles of Christ.
“To sustain the presence of Holy Spirit in your life, you must shun every sin and strive to live a holy life,* he added.
