St. Joseph’s Seminary Special Science School Awka Etiti has recorded another remarkable achievement as 33 students of the school scored 9 A’s in the various subjects they took at the just-concluded 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), while 35 of them scored 8 A’s and 1 C and the rest preformed excellently well.
The Rector of the seminary, Rev. Fr. Charles Aniekwe, disclosed this to Trinitas Newspaper, expressing elation over the development. He stated that it took a lot of effort to achieve such a historical feat and attributed the success to the students’ belief in the seminary’s capacity to deliver.
“Today, we celebrate them because they have achieved remarkable success. St. Joseph’s remains one of the best schools in the state and country. It’s not just a secondary school; it’s a seminary school where holistic formation takes place. We emphasize character formation because some of them will become priests.”
The Rector further highlighted the school’s commitment to science and technology, as well as the development of young ones. He eulogized the Archbishop of Onitsha, cum proprietor of the seminary, His Grace Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, for his fatherly role and support.
“The Archbishop’s support encourages us to push boundaries and work harder to achieve success. He has always enjoined us to embrace the culture of excellence, and the success our students achieved in their recent examination is a testament to that.”
