Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha, has once again demonstrated its strong commitment to holistic human formation, achieving remarkable success in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Out of the 131 candidates registered by the college, an outstanding 110 candidates achieved distinctions (A1-B3) in all nine subjects. Additionally, 126 candidates scored A1, B, and C grades, while only five students fell short in one subject, despite still securing a minimum of four A1s in the exam.
The Mathematics results were particularly impressive, with 127 candidates earning A1 grades and the remaining four scoring Bs. In the sciences, 111 candidates took both Physics and Chemistry, with 79 earning A1 in Physics and 90 in Chemistry.
These exceptional results underscore CKC’s ability to excel at the highest level. The school continues to transform students, many from low-income families without a solid academic foundation, into top achievers.
